2011 Season Under Way

Welcome to the Wilshire-Riverside Little League 2011 season! We are delighted to have you and your family a part of league. We anticipate that this year’s baseball and softball season will be as memorable and successful as those in the past.

Upcoming Events

• Closing Day Ceremonies: Saturday, June 4 at Wilshire Park from 8am to 3 pm
  At the end of the baseball and softball season each team donates a team basket to the league, and then each basket is raffled off throughout the day. Along with a barbecue, plenty of activities are also planned including the last game of the season for many of the ball players.
• Tournament of Champions: June 4 - 15
  This is the end of the season tournament for minors and majors District 1 teams. At each level, games are played throughout North and Northeast Portland with the championship game held at Riverside Field on June 15.

Levels of Play:

Little League International sponsors several levels of play for both softball and baseball. In Wilshire-Riverside Little League, we pride ourselves on fielding upwards of 50 teams each spring.

• T-Ball - Boys and Girls, League Ages 5 - 7
• Baseball - Boys and Girls, League Ages 7 – 16
• Softball - Girls, League Ages 7 - 16
